01 / Power for a defined transfer route

Supply the cart.
Control the cable path.

Cable-reel power connects the cart to the site supply through a managed cable. Reel position, travel length, guides and protection are reviewed as one installation.

  • 01 / POWER SUPPLY

    No onboard charging.

Use a specified three-phase supply. Confirm voltage, load, duty and site protection for the application.

  • 02 / REEL ARRANGEMENT

    Choose the mounting.

On-cart or fixed floor/wall mounting, with spring or motorized level-wind reel options.

  • 03 / CABLE MANAGEMENT

    Plan the whole route.

Review guides, trays, guards, bend radius, winding torque and tension protection along the travel.

  • 04 / CART MOVEMENT

    Match the guidance.

Rail-guided carts need running rails. Trackless cable-tray arrangements still need a defined route and cable-handling review.

06 / Useful cable-reel cart questions

Before you specify
a cable reel transfer cart.

Start with your load, repeat route and available power supply. Undecided details can be reviewed with the project team.

Discuss your cable route ↗
When should I consider cable-reel power?

Consider it for a defined repeat route where a suitable cable path, reel mounting and power connection can be arranged. Compare installation, cable management, duty and maintenance with battery or rail-conductor power.

Does cable-reel power remove the need for running rails?

Power supply and cart guidance are separate choices. Rail-guided carts still require running rails. A trackless cable-tray arrangement must be reviewed for the floor, aisle, cable route and intended steering movements.

When does the page suggest a motorized reel?

The original guide flags speed above 25 m/min, travel above 60 m or an already selected motorized reel. It is a review prompt. Your spring-reel selection is retained, and final reel suitability depends on torque, cable capacity and operating duty.

Is the cable length a final cut length?

No. It retains the original travel × 1.1 allowance for on-cart mounting or × 1.2 for fixed floor/wall mounting. Actual lead-in geometry, winding needs, bend radius and connections require a drawing-based calculation.

Can I choose a custom deck and fixtures?

Yes. Share the load weight and dimensions, support points, loading method, deck-height requirements and restraint needs. Fixtures for molds, coils, frames or assemblies can be reviewed.

What does the displayed budget mean?

The main range is the indicative EXW equipment budget for the selected number of carts, using the original configuration model. Multiple carts show an equivalent per-cart range. Final cable and installation scope, freight, tax, price and schedule require confirmation.
