01 / Built around the load and movement
Define the movement.
Review the complete route.
Steering options help match a cart to its transfer task. Wheelbase, load position, aisle width, gradients and the running surface determine the final arrangement.
- 01 / STEERING
Choose the movement.
Front, rear, four-wheel or crab/omni selections for review against the required approach and positioning.
- 02 / FLOOR CONTACT
Match the wheels.
PU, solid rubber or steel options. Confirm the running surface, wheel loads and contact requirements.
- 03 / POWER SYSTEM
Plan the operating cycle.
LiFePO₄ or lead-acid battery, cable-reel and diesel-hybrid choices, matched to the duty and route.
- 04 / LOAD SUPPORT
A deck for the task.
Discuss coil supports, mold frames, fixtures, restraints and loading access for your load.

02 / Configure your steerable transfer cart
Define the cart.
Plan the movement and duty.
Adjust the 14 original configuration choices. Your indicative EXW budget, width-based layout reference and complete enquiry update together.
Build Your Spec
Start from the sample configuration. Floor loading, steering clearance, gradeability and runtime require engineering confirmation.
Runtime is a requested target, subject to battery and duty review.
Confirm the route, floor, power and operating duty.
03 / Technical reference
Load, chassis and steering.
One transport arrangement.
Review the original specification range against your floor and route. Wheel loading, braking, battery sizing, protection and test scope are confirmed in the proposal.

04 / Workshop movement
Connect the operations.
Review every approach and turn.
Discuss heavy-load transfers and positioning for steel, molds, frames or assemblies. Route drawings determine the required movement and clearance.

Platforms for heavy-load transfer
Confirm support points, deck size, loading access and restraint for the actual load.
ROUTE REVIEW / BEFORE ORDERING
The floor plan defines
the steering requirement.
- 01 / APPROACHMark loading points and the intended direction of travel.
- 02 / CLEARANCEShow the narrowest aisles, obstacles and turning spaces.
- 03 / RUNNING SURFACEIdentify joints, ramps, gradients and floor-loading limits.
- 04 / OPERATING CYCLERecord trips, stops and charging or power-supply arrangements.
05 / From enquiry to commissioning
Review the movement.
Agree the complete scope.
Coordinate the cart, steering, floor and power system before ordering. Testing and site services are recorded in the proposal.
- 01 / SIZING
Load & route.
Share dimensions, floor data and steering needs.
- 02 / PROPOSAL
Chassis & budget.

Confirm site checks, training and maintenance guidance.
06 / Useful steerable-cart questions
Before you specify
a steerable transfer cart.
Start with your load, floor and complete route. Undecided details can be reviewed with the project team.
Discuss your steering requirements ↗Which steering arrangement should I choose?
Share the intended movements and route drawing. Front, rear, four-wheel and crab/omni options are enquiry choices; final suitability depends on the chassis, wheelbase, load and clearance.
Does crab/omni steering mean zero-radius rotation?
Not automatically. Sideways travel, coordinated steering and rotation are different capabilities. Confirm the required movements and the actual steering mechanism in the project drawings.
Is the displayed width-based reference a true turning radius?
No. It retains the original deck-width factors as an unverified layout guide. Actual turning and swept paths depend on wheelbase, steering angles, overhangs and the load envelope.
Is the selected runtime guaranteed?
No. For battery power, it is the requested target for battery and duty review. Actual endurance depends on battery capacity, load, auxiliaries, starts, temperature and the route. For cable-reel or diesel-hybrid power it records the operating period; the original budget has no runtime factor for those options.
Can I specify a slope and different wheel types?
Yes. The original options include 0–8% requested gradeability and PU, solid-rubber or steel wheels. The project team must verify the load, floor, traction, wheel pressure and braking. Selecting a value is not a performance guarantee.
What does the displayed budget mean?
The main range is the indicative EXW equipment budget for the selected number of carts using the original model. Multiple carts show an equivalent per-cart range. Final fixtures, steering, battery, protection, freight, tax, price and schedule require confirmation.
